Material: For the Texas United Fall kits, we went with Eyelet mesh. For StickStar, this was our first venture into Eyelet mesh reversibles and they turned out great! A durable and light weight material, our players remarked at how great they handled the wet conditions in Baltimore this past weekend. Specifically, that they dry quick and do not get heavy in the rain.
Embellishment: As it turns out, sublimation works great on Eyelet mesh! We love America. Our gear is manufactured here so it made sense to go with the Captain America shield this Fall. We incorporated our new corporate partner's logo, STX, on the back shoulder as well.
Fabric: For this round of shorts we went with a material we have not used in quite some time: Heavy Tech Mesh. Tech Mesh is a heavier and more durable fabric than it's cousin, Microsuede. This is a heavy short that just feels OFFICIAL when you put it on!
Embroidery: On the left leg we went with our spirit animal, the Jackalope, prominently embroidered on the left leg.
Inserts: Both inserts are sublimated white Microsuede fabric with a red outline and differing art for each leg.
When traveling as a team we believe it important to look the part. So in addition to our team long sleeve shooting shirts all StickStar players this fall also receive the StickStar Sweatsuedo to stay warm prior to getting on the road. The sweats certainly came in handy as weather in Baltimore was a bit chilly and wet.
