StickStar Lacrosse Consultation

Dallas Deuces 5/6 Champions 08'

StickStar Lacrosse Consultation recognizes that the Dallas area suffers from a lack of qualified lacrosse coaching.  StickStar can formulate a program-specific plan to address any and all challenges that a program may have.  By utilizing a building block approach to the impleementation of teams skills, StickStar is able to realize similar results at the team level as they do at the individual level.  StickStar can also lend itself to a more program-wide development with programs that may have difficulty in (but not limited to) the folowing areas: program health and growth, development of a program-wide system, and actual coaches' instruction (either on field or in a classroom setting).

Coach Crimmins focuses on teaching the squads as many component parts of the game as possible.  There are many integral fundamental components in the team based game that transcend any coaches particular system and are evident in pretty much any system.  The components are what constitute lacrosse IQ.

1.) Dallas Jesuit JV:  Coach Crimmins coached Dallas Jesuit JV during the 2009-2010 season.  The squad ammassed a 8-2 record, losing only to St. Marks by 1 goal in each of their contests.

2.) Dallas Deuces:  Deuces teams coached by Anthony Crimmins went 51-12-1.  Each team made the championship game under his command.  A total of 5 championship appearances with 2 titiles.

  • 5th / 6th squad in 2008
  • 5th / 6th squad & 7th / 8th squad in 2009
  • 5th / 6th squad & 7th / 8th squad in 2010

3.) Parish Episcopal School:  Coached this 5th / 6th team only in practices during the 2008 season.  The year prior to StickStar's involvement the team went 1-9.  On the first day of practice, this team had a challenge with doing line drills. Testimonial: "Anthony Crimmins changed Parish Episcopal’s lacrosse program completely in a positive direction. He taught the boys the stick skills and the foundation they needed to be good lacrosse players.  Anthony has the ability to coach a large number of boys or small private group. He keeps them controlled, focused and motivated to play their best.  He also makes it fun and the energy level high.  Parents at Parish quickly realized that we had something valuable and our team double in size once Anthony starting coaching. Before Coach Crimmins came along, Parish had only won 1 game.  We ended the season winning 9 games out of 14 games.  Wow, what a difference he made!!!! Today, Parish has a lacrosse team for every grade starting with 2nd grade through high school.  I accredit this success to Anthony Crimmins’ professional and dedication to the boys and the sport.  He is an incredible coach and role mole for anyone’s son who wants to achieve his athletic best."

4.) Providence Christian School of Dallas:  Coached this 7th / 8th grade team only in practice during the 2007 season.  Worked with them on basic individual and team skills.  Competed in the competitive 7th / 8th grade league and went undefeated.
