StickStar Lacrosse

Dallas Select is StickStar's select team branch of operation.  Dallas Select provides players from numerous teams an opportunity to play for a coaching staff that is dedicated to discipline. Through this commitment to discipline, the coaching staff demonstrates the intensity and preparation necessary to compete at the Division 1 level. Players learn about accountability and the necessity to constantly compete at a high level.

Dallas Select is the recruiting facet of StickStar Lacrosse. Anthony Crimmins played Division 1 lacrosse and understands the commitment required to play lacrosse at the next level. In addition, they understand the steps that are involved in the recruitment process. StickStar Lacrosse guides both players and parents with the process as it is those who are most educated and proactive who usually have the best results.

DSelect brings the greatest amount of value to parents shopping the Select Team market.  By utilizing unique coaching methods / techniques, detailed travel / team management, post tournament player profile reports, and coaching staffs stocked full of Division 1 experience, we deliver.

Community Building

• Dallas Select brings players from numerous North District teams together and provides them an opportunity to play under one banner.  Players meet new friends from distant programs that they would regularly never know.  These players come together and leave with lasting friendships.

Discipline / Accountability

• Dallas Select players will be playing for a coaching staff that is dedicated to discipline.  Through this commitment to discipline, the coaching staff demonstrates the inensity and preparation necessary to compete at the Division 1 level.  Players learn about accountability and the necessity to constantly compete at a high level.

Presentation

• Dallas Select prides itself on its ability to succesfully coach a Division 1 system of play.  We believe it is necessary to present players to coaches in the best possible manner; thus, it is fundamentally necessary for players to run and execute a consistent system with fundamental collegiate principles.

On the Field

• On the field players are expected to execute and communicate our system, which is modeled off of a Division 1 style of play.  Players are expected have working knowledge of our system and be able to apply it to every facet of the game.
   

Communicable System

• Effective coaching requires efficient communication.  This communication is greatly aided by coach and athlete sharing a terminology for movement and system.

Off the Field

• Our players are expected to act like young gentleman and conduct themselves appropriately at all times.  Our players understand that once we leave for a tournament its time for business.  Everything we do is in preparation of our games and they understand that the upcoming tournament is hwere their focus should be.  We have never had an off field issue, and that is something we pride ourselves on.

Recruiting (understanding the process)

• All Dallas Select coaches have played Division 1 lacrosse; thus, they understand the commitment required to play lacrosse at the next level.  They also understand the steps that are involved in the recruitment process.  Players and parents must be educatied regarding this process, as it is those who are most educated and proactive who usually have the best results.

Post Tournament Packet

• Participation in Dallas Select includes receiving a detailed recruiting manual to aid in the process, and an individualized player profile after each season's tournament experience.  We believe all players benefit greatly from this necessary evalution and tangible feedback.  We have seen many of our players make great strides in areas we pointed out as initial opportunities for immediate improvement.

Accomodation

• We are an organization that prides itself in taking on all of the details.  We look to provide curb to curb accomodation when our trips start.  All details regarding, travel, food, lodging, and transportation are taken care of in full.
