June 4, 2010 (Dallas, Tx)
1.) Program Strength: Dallas Select was scheduled to play Team Austin immediately after Team Austin’s match with Team Dallas. Team Austin put forth a good showing against Dallas Select but were obviously fatigued as Dallas Select was up 8-2 at the end of the first half. Thankfully, Dallas Select had more than enough players to inner squad scrimmage comfortably. The overall size and level of skill of the entire Dallas Select program was a point not lost on anyone.
2.) Collegiate System / Execution: Another evident strength of the Dallas Select program was their execution of a collegiate-based system accompanied by continuous coaching. Over the remainder of the T99 weekend, many of the college coaches who were in attendance at the showcase commented on the approach and the systematic execution.
3.) Recruiting Manual: The final and most widely appreciated aspect of the showcase game was the Dallas Select recruiting program that accompanied the match. In the supplemental recruiting materials, coaches were given a player summary of many of the Dallas Select players attending the showcase and T99. Furthermore, coaches were also given player profiles providing them with crucial information to aide in the further recruitment of the Dallas Select players.
Everyone was impressed with the organization, presentation, and ultimate result of that night’s success.
“Congratulations on an EXCELLENT showing tonight! I was very impressed with
the level of professionalism and the way you presented Dallas Select.”
