The 2009 – 2010 Dallas Deuces Championship Season was very successful for both the 5/6 and 7/8 squads. The 5/6 team posted a record of 7-3 and reached its 3rd consecutive championship game. The 5/6 team eventually fell to the Highland Park Scots in the championship game.
The 7/8 team posted a record of 14-1 and had an undefeated regular season. They almost ran the table but lost in the championship to the St. Marks Lions. This was the Deuces 7/8 team 2nd consecutive year to make the championship game.
In 3 years under Coach Crimmins, the Dallas Deuces have made it to the championship game with each team. Although they haven’t won all of them, their getting to that point says something for the future of the Dallas Jesuit program.
Coach Crimmins stated, “The Dallas Deuces organization is comprised of the best people one can be surrounded by and will have continued success as a result of its players, parents, and administration. Special thanks to the Surran family who have given me the opportunity to coach such a great group of young men.”
