Makay Hansen (2019) Highland Park - Attack

Makay Hansen could be one of the smartest and most skilled players the 2019 class in Texas has to offer.

Offensively, Makay gets paid off ball and makes his living finishing. Patient and skilled, Hansen moves goalies and enjoys making them miss before getting dunks. He truly makes opposing tendys look foolish. These opportunities are a function of his awareness of spacing and getting to spots on the field where he constantly finds himself open. If he's around the goal, don't let him catch it.

With ball in his stick, Hansen is not a guy that is going to completely lose defenders on impact, but when he does get a step, can turn the corner and beat goalies to the pipe with both hands. Hansen also enjoys dodging physically by leaning in and getting to quality angles above GLE. Once he has good angle, he's able to shoot around his defender with a full repertoire of shots. He is an extremely intelligent lacrosse player with the skill and vision that allows him to drop great assists and makes those around him better as well.

Makay Hansen gets buckets. Tons of them and against all levels of competition. A pure scorer that is just coming into his own physically, he is starting to gain the attention of college coaches for his unique skill set and intelligent play. He will be a dominant scorer in the high school ranks in the coming seasons.
