Local Legends, Texans at the Next Level, LSA / MCLA, Local High School Coaches - all in the Mix!

We are thrilled to announce our 2017 Texas All Star Round Up coaching staffs in all of their greatness.  We are really excited about this group of “Texans at the Next Level,” Local Legends, MCLA / LSA coaches, and current, local HS coaches.  A great group all together, they are coaching an insane group of talent.  We are excited to have this group of coaches wield such talent.  The games should be outstanding.

2017 RED
Coach Mark Purcell is currently the Head Coach of the TCU Horned Frogs and just completed his second season with the team. While at the helm he has led the Horned frogs to a regular season record of 13-12 and the Frogs have made the Lone Star Alliance conference tournament in both seasons. Most recently, he and his squad established a new precedent for the program by advancing to the LSA Final Four.  "I am very excited to meet the players, parents and coach the 2017 squad as these young men will all have an opportunity to play lacrosse in college whether it be NCAA or MCLA."

Coach John Michael Priddy is another Texan at the Next Level playing LSM for NCAA Division 1, Michigan. As a freshman, Priddy tallied 9 ground balls, 1 goal, and 1 assist in 2017. He was a 3x All-American in high school, led the Jesuit Rangers to the their ever state title in 2016, and received the StickStar Player of the Year award in 2016 as well.

2017 WHITE
Coach Karl Lynch is currently the Head Coach of the SMU Mustangs. The Mustangs just finished their 2017 season by repeating as the Lone Star Alliance Champions and advancing to the MCLA National Tournament. Lynch has amassed an overall regular season record of 62-21 in his 6 seasons at the helm for the Ponies. “Each year, I’m astonished at how good these Texas kids are getting.  They have ready made skills for the college game, plus Texas athleticism.  Did I mention we have a team at SMU?”

Coach Bryce Wasserman is currently a Texan at the Next Level playing attack for NCAA Division 1, Monmouth University. As a junior this season, Wasserman led the Hawks in points (45) as well as both goals (29) and assists (16).  He currently sits at 98 overall points in his three seasons at Monmouth.  He is in his 4th summer of coaching for Dallas Select and Texas United and was the offensive coordinator for FCA Elite in 2016. "I'm excited to be able to help coach again at the Texas All Star game. I cannot express how awesome it is that these players get this opportunity to showcase themselves before they take their talents all over the country."

2018 RED
Coaches Bill Elliott & Colin Cutler
are one of the more remarkable coaching tandems in the THSLL.  Coach Cutler is a 2001 Hillcrest Panther Alum, and has manned the sidelines with Coach Elliott for his 10th season. In 2017 Coach Elliot finished his 23 season as the Head Coach for the Hillcrest Panthers.  In 2010 Coaches Elliott and Cutler led the Panthers to their first ever D2 State Championships.  In 2017 Coach Elliott was named a Person of the Year by the THSLL and Cutler was recognized as the N. District Asst. of the Year.

2018 WHITE
Nathan Farabee is the Head Coach for Plano East, and was responsible for the Panthers putting together their best season in sometime.  Farabee was recognized as the N. District Coach of the Year in 2017.  "I'm pumped to be able to take a part in this amazing event!  Every year Texas lacrosse gets better and better, and events like these serve to show some of the best players we have being sent into the college lacrosse world. Our best guys are starting to make inroads at the collegiate level, and we're seeing Texans all over the landscape making splashes at big time schools, several of which are playing in the NCAA quarterfinals this weekend.  Additionally the Crum Facility is second to none in this state; the first time I walked through the doors I couldn't believe it was built for lax, so I'm excited to be able to coach a game on its turf!  Thank you Coach Crimmins for inviting me to take part in this exciting event, I'm looking forward to being able to be on the sideline with such awesome players and men one more time this season!"

Coach Mario Enea is currently the Head Coach for the Oklahoma Sooners. In just his first season at the helm for the Sooners, his squad was able to amass a 10-2 record and lead the Sooners to the Lone Star Alliance Conference Championship game for the first time in program in history.  "I'm very excited to meet, coach and watch the talent level of he best players in Texas.”
