What excites you about coming down to Texas for this event?

I enjoy how receptive the kids are to the coaching. It has been a fun event in the past!

Coaching Path

Coach Skelly's first coaching position came in the fall of 2011 when he became the Defensive Coordinator for the Men's Lacrosse Team at his alma mater, The College at Brockport. In two seasons under Coach Skelly, the Golden Eagle defense improved dramatically finishing the 2013 season ranked 1st in conference for goals against average.

After spending the 2013 & 2014 seasons with the Golden Eagles, Coach Skelly took a position as an assistant coach for the Binghamton Men's Lacrosse Team. In his first year coaching at the Division I level, Coach Skelly's Bearcats managed to reach the American East Conference Tournament after finishing the regular season with a stellar 4-1 conference record. Coach Skelly's time at Binghamton was spent working with defensemen & goalies with an emphasis on player development. In his 3 years with the Bearcats Coach Skelly coached:

6 Academic All-Americans, 12 All- Conference Players, and 6 Conference All-Rookie Selections.

Coach Skelly is currently in his 2nd year as the Defensive Coordinator for the Men's Lacrosse Team at Sacred Heart University. Along with his duties as Defensive Coordinator, Coach Skelly is also the program's Recruiting Coordinator.

Coach Skelly played collegiate lacrosse for Division III SUNY College at Brockport where he appeared in 48 games for the Golden Eagles. During his 4 year campaign, Coach Skelly amassed 82 ground balls, and 16 caused turnovers while also registering 2 goals & an assist.
